These terms apply to all visitors, donors, and fundraiser organisers. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
Chema is a community-powered fundraising platform that enables individuals, families, and charitable organisations to raise funds for funerals, medical needs, education, and other community causes.
Chema provides the technology and payment infrastructure. We do not guarantee that any fundraising goal will be met, and we are not responsible for the use of funds by fundraiser organisers.
To create and manage a fundraiser you must register for an account. You agree to:

Chema reserves the right to remove any fundraiser that violates these guidelines without prior notice.
Donations made through Chema are processed by our payment partners (PayPal, Paynow, EcoCash). By donating, you confirm that:
Chema charges a platform fee on donations to sustain operations. The fee percentage is displayed transparently before you publish a fundraiser.
Withdrawals are processed to your nominated mobile wallet or bank account within 24 hours of approval. Minimum withdrawal amounts and supported methods are listed in your fundraiser dashboard.
Chema is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or financial institutions.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chema and its affiliates will not be liable for:
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Chema in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, your public fundraiser pages will be removed and your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Chema may suspend or terminate your account at its discretion if you breach these Terms, without liability or prior notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising from your use of Chema shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.
